Anglický jazyk

Na škole sa veľkej popularite teší práve náš native speaker Lee. 2 hodiny týždenne v rozvrhu v každom ročníku zameraných na konverzáciu v anglickom jazyku žiakom prispieva k zlepšovaniu ich konverzačných schopností, ale hlavne k sebavedomiu pri komunikácii v cudzom jazyku. Témy konverzácií korešpondujú s učivom, ktoré sa aktuálne preberá na základných hodinách angličtiny, avšak spontánne konverzácie často odvejú pozornosť k témam, ktorými deti aktuálne žijú. Nie je prekvapujúce, ak žiaci s Leem hrajú karty, či spoločenské hry. Čokoľvek, len aby bolo počuť spontánnu vravu v anglickom jazyku a aby pri tom bola pohoda. Lee pre deti zároveň vzorom anglickej kultúry a etikety a aj tejto oblasti venuje patričnú pozornosť. Takmer každé ráno ho nájdete v zborovni v pokoji popíjať kvalitný anglický čaj :-)

"My aim is for the students to use and expand on their newly learnt skills in a comfortable and fun environment. In 2 stupen the emphasis is conversation skills and  building confidence in a social setting.

Through the course of the lessons I like to encourage the students to converse with me and with each other in English. I feel that through the use of positive encouragement and not dwelling on any mistake made, that the students thrive and will want to learn in a fun and exciting environment.

If you were to join one of my lessons, you would most likely find yourself being involved in one of many themed debates or activities using interactive tools. All with the aim of encouraging back and forth conversation and thinking quickly on the spot.
